Valentines Night Delight!
After a fairly busy January, here at The King’s Head we have been working hard to prepare for the upcoming seasonal specials we will feature, and ensure that all of these will be sure to leave your taste buds tingling! And of course, we have been taking into consideration all of your feedback to ensure that we meet and surpass all of your expectations!
This month we focused on our Valentines menu which was utterly and truly a complete delight! Our diners have raved about the incredible menu prepared by Daniel our Head Chef, featuring dishes to be shared such as ‘A Sharing Board of Baked Camembert with Roasted Garlic, Garlic Dough Balls and Crudités’ or for the more adventurous diners we have ‘Swordfish Supreme with Chilli and Lemongrass Glass Noodles, Roasted Pepper Compote finished with Apple and Ginger Jam’.
These handcrafted dishes truly were a taste sensation, as proven by one of our Trip advisor reviews which stated ‘Wonderful food on the 'special' Valentines Menu. And, considering that this is all cooked fresh and not your 'Chain-Pub' Microwave Ping-food I thought it was EXCELLENT value for money. Camembert sharing starter followed by Rack of Lamb in Herb Crust, Dauphinoise Potatoes with Celeriac and Chorizo’. This fantastic review just helps to reiterate our key ethos ‘Fine food, freshly cooked with love’.
